Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an experienced faculty member for its new Master's in Applied Biomedical Science Program, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI). This innovative program, embedded within the medical school, prepares students with the technical, ethical, and clinical expertise needed to advance AI integration in healthcare and medical research. The faculty member will support program administration and growth, ensuring students receive a rigorous, cutting-edge education for impactful careers in healthcare AI. Additionally, they will collaborate with faculty, researchers, and industry partners to further the school's mission at the intersection of AI and medicine.

Collaborate with the Director of the Master's of Applied Biomedical Sciences program to develop and execute its vision, ensuring alignment with medical school and university goals. Partner with the Curriculum Team to design learning outcomes that reflect the evolving role of AI in healthcare for medical students and Master's Degree students. Ensure high-quality instruction and mentorship, fostering an engaging learning environment to maintain strong student satisfaction.
