RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: University of the Ozarks invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology position, effective August 2026. Preference will be given to candidates who have earned a Ph.D. degree in Psychology by the time of employment, although those who are ABD will also be considered. The area of specialization is open, although applicants with expertise in I/O or Social Psychology are preferred. The ideal applicant should have experience in college teaching and demonstrate successful student-centered teaching outcomes. Additionally, applicants should be eager to work as a team to support our growing and popular psychology program. The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching psychology courses in various content areas, including industrial-organizational (I/O) psychology, social psychology, and related subfields, as well as introductory courses. Opportunities exist to enhance the Psychology program’s curriculum with additional courses and research that incorporate student involvement.
