Assistant / Associate Professor, Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Boston Medical Center

The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• providing clinical care (inpatient and outpatient);
• participating in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other health professionals;
• having a leadership role in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship activities;
• conducting clinical, translational, epidemiologic or laboratory research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases; and other duties as needed.

Required Skills / Minimum Qualifications:

• MD/DO, MD/PhD, degrees or equivalent;
• BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Diseases;
• holding (or eligible for) Massachusetts physician license.

Salary Range: $168,314.00 - $322,518.00. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison.
