- Responsible for operating the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Medicine Department.
Responsible for the treatment of ill and/or injured student-athletes.Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with team physicians, scheduling appointments, following medical guidelines and following up on evaluations/test results.Maintain proper medical documentation and insurance claims.Inventory tracking, distribution, and maintenance of supplies.Initiate frequent communication with coaching staff, administrators, sports medicine staff, and other medical professionals.Coordinate pre-participation exams and the medical clearance process.Supervise sports medicine staff.
