Assistant Director for Strategic Scheduling
This position requires advising a case load of approximately 200-220 first year students during the Fall and Spring semesters, and approximately 200 continuing, returning, and transfer students during the winter and summer periods. The position will also lead efforts to centralize undergraduate course scheduling in CAS, taking primary responsibility for gathering and analyzing data related to course scheduling and working closely with a CAS Associate Dean and department heads to maximize student enrollment and access in course offerings. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in a College of Arts & Sciences field and academic advising experience at the university level.
- Demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of Banner, MS365, and WebFocus.
