Advertised Job Summary
Under limited supervision, creates and manages a multi-year comprehensive plan to be developed and shared with OLE for concurrence to support year over year budget requirements, prioritization of work, coordination of work schedules with stakeholders as to not interfere with mission requirements to include weekly progress updates and written reports to track and reflect status and progress.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 10 years’ professional experience in a specialized trades area; or in diversified building or vehicle maintenance, or construction activity.
- Supervisory experience in a facilities management related field preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must be able to plan, direct and review the work of contracted services and subordinates. Must possess good leadership abilities, good interpersonal skills and the ability to interface and work well with subordinates, peers, outside departments and other facilities professionals. Must have ability to operate computer systems and their respective software for managing programs and projects and providing associated reports. Must have the ability to lead by example, solve problems, take initiative to provide services, develop strong customer relationships, measure cost and performance, and keep accurate records. Must have a working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, roofing, and strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
