DESCRIPTION (topics, expectations, remarks):
- involvement in conducting scientific research and teaching activities covering data analytics as well as the analysis and improvement of industrial processes,
- knowledge of issues related to computer science as well as production management and engineering,
- ability to solve engineering problems and analyze data in MS Office and Matlab,
- knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and the latest Microsoft technologies supporting enterprise management,
- teaching experience is not required, but will be regarded as a valuable asset,
- the candidate should demonstrate scientific initiative, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team,
- abstract and critical thinking skills, as well as creativity.
Candidates for the above-mentioned position should:
- hold a master's degree in engineering in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of mechanical engineering,
- meet the requirements set out in the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and in the Statute of the Rzeszów University of Technology of 27 June 2019 (consolidated text as of 20 March 2025),
- present their own scientific publication or research results with publication potential,
- knowledge of the Polish language at the native language,
- knowledge of the English language at the good level.
Scope of duties:
- In accordance with Article 115 of the applicable Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and the work regulations of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology, introduced by Order No. 40/2019 of the Rector of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology of 16 September 2019, as amended.
Required documents:
- an application addressed to the Rector Magnificus of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology,
- CV,
- a personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment,
- copies of diplomas,
- a declaration by the candidate (F/M) that the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology will be their primary place of employment if they win the competition.
Place of submission of documents:
Documents should be submitted at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the Rzeszów University of Technology, ul. Powstańców Warszawy 8, 35-029 Rzeszów, building L-28, room 126.
A person selected through the competition for employment, who will be entrusted with tasks related to activities covered by the protection of minors, will be required to submit information and declarations in accordance with the requirements of Article 21 of the Act of 13 May 2016 on counteracting the threat of sexual offenses and the protection of minors (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1802, as amended);
The Rzeszów University of Technology reserves the right to close the competition without selecting a candidate.
Candidates will be notified in writing of the outcome of the competition.
A positive recommendation from the competition committee constitutes the basis for initiating proceedings aimed at employment at the Rzeszów University of Technology, in accordance with the procedure set out in the Statute of the Rzeszów University of Technology. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
