Offer Description
We are looking for:
- one person per associate position of assistant, for the scientific field of technical sciences, the scientific field of basic technical sciences, the scientific branch of technical mechanics (mechanics of rigid and deformable bodies), for a definite period of time (substitute for maternity and parental leave), full-time.
Applicants who apply for this position are obliged to meet the conditions prescribed by the provisions of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (OG 119/22) and the Statute of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Additional requirements:
- active knowledge of spoken and written English,
- knowledge of the Croatian language at C2 level.
The coefficient for calculating salaries for the position is 2.01.

Deadline for submission of applications for the position under 1. is 30 days from the date of publication of the vacancy notice in the Official Gazette.
The application for the position must include: a hand-signed application, CV, diploma, appropriate proof of citizenship, electronic record of data recorded in the registry of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute and evidence proving the existence of the necessary mandatory and additional conditions. All documents must be in one PDF document.
Incomplete, untimely and unsigned applications will not be taken into account.

If a person who has obtained a higher education qualification in a foreign country is applying for the competition, he or she should submit proof of the initiation of the procedure for the recognition of the foreign higher education qualification.
The condition for the selection of teachers and associates of a foreign citizen is proof of knowledge of the C2 level of the Croatian language, except for applicants who are employed through international projects and do not participate in classes in the Croatian language.
The documents are to be submitted in an uncertified copy, and the candidate will present the originals before the election.
