The employee will do laboratory and seminar work with students. The subjects covered include crystallization of metals and alloys, iron metallurgy and unidirectional crystallization. The employee will be engaged in research in the field of topics carried out with students.

Eligibility criteria
- hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Materials Engineering,
- documented proficiency in English at least at the B-2 level,
- for foreign nationals—documented proficiency in Polish at least at the C1 level,
- experience in teaching (for example, gained during a course or teaching development program preparing participants to teach academic courses) in the following areas: directional solidification of metals and their alloys, and cast iron metallurgy,
- experience in research in the following areas:
- directional solidification using the LMC (Liquid Metal Cooling) method,
- operation of directional solidification equipment,
- cast iron smelting technology, its modification, and spheroidization,
- conducting strength tests in accordance with standards,
- metallographic specimen preparation and evaluation of alloy microstructures.
ADDITIONAL:
- ability to work in research teams, interpersonal skills,
- aptitude for teaching,
- active participation in scientific conferences and symposia,
- documented research achievements in the field of Materials Engineering,
- a completed or ongoing (more than 80% complete) Ph.D. in Materials Engineering is a plus,
