Assistant Module Lead
Job Summary
To serve as the Assistant Module Lead for the Academic Advising Systems module in support of the Common Management System (CMS) Student Administration. This position is responsible for maintaining stable, efficient, and accurate Advising and E-Advising systems (such as Degree Planner and EAB) to fulfill the university's student success goals and initiatives. Duties include general module support and processing; project implementation support; in depth system testing, analysis, and troubleshooting; issue triage; security maintenance; and end user documentation and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Module Support: Assists with systems implementation, testing, set up, data validation, configuration, and maintenance. Coordinates Academic Advising related processing such as degree clearing, degree audit, and timely graduation. Performs troubleshooting and quality control assurance. Perform data analysis and cleanup of reporting files associated with Student Records.
- Module Testing and Coordination: Test and validate updates and fixes to Academic Advising and Student Records student information systems such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and third-party products.
- Security, Documentation/Training, and Communications: Coordinates and maintains security access to the Student Administration System, CS-Link, and third-party systems. Documents business processes. Creates and delivers training courses. Primary contact for user inquiries.
