Job Description
The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting for a tenure/tenure-track position, or a Lecturer of Accounting for a non-tenure-track position, beginning in Fall 2026.
- Teaching of undergraduate and graduate level courses in accounting include auditing, accounting information systems, and financial accounting.
- Excellence in teaching is required, as is participation in service activities to the university, community and profession.
- Assistant/Associate Professor candidates are also expected to conduct scholarly activities in their area of concentration to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates for Assistant/Associate Professor must hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in an appropriate field and an active CPA license.
- Candidates for Lecturer must have a graduate degree in business and an active CPA license.
- Previous teaching experience, including demonstrated ability to teach effectively in a technology-facilitated environment, as well as in a traditional classroom setting, is a requirement.
