Clinical Assistant Professor - School of Accountancy
Description
The School of Accountancy invites applications for one full-time faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor beginning in August 2026. The position carries a traditional teaching load (typically 3 courses in fall and 3 courses in spring), and we are particularly interested in candidates with interest and experience teaching accounting information systems and data analytics at the undergraduate level. Other areas of teaching interest will also be considered. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree. In addition, licensing as a CPA (and holding of other licenses), along with work experience in the accounting profession, is desired.
In addition to high-quality teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to conduct research to maintain a “Scholarly Academic” standing (as defined by AACSB business accreditation standards). The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in meaningful service to the School of Accountancy, engage with students in professional development activities, and engage with employers and accounting professionals.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Accounting (or equivalent terminal degree) expected by August 2026. Applicants must show promise of excellence in teaching and service, value collegiality, and desire to contribute to the Clemson community of accounting scholars and the greater community of accounting professionals.
