Job Description
Basic Function:
The successful candidate will be responsible for lecture instruction in the subject area of business law in the Business Administration discipline. This full-time, tenure-track position is in Business Administration, part of the School of Business and Management. The Business Administration - Business Law professor will provide quality learning opportunities that assist students in meeting their educational and career goals in business law classes. The business law faculty member will primarily teach courses that introduce the specific areas of the legal environment that affect individuals and businesses with an emphasis on contracts, legal history, civil procedure, constitutional law, torts, intellectual property, cyber law, criminal law, international law, labor and employment law, and agency. The faculty member will also take part in curriculum management and development, advise students, maintain current expertise in the field, and participate on college committees.

Education:
Master in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in economics, personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree OR Bachelor's in economics with a business emphasis AND Master's in personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree OR the equivalent. (All degrees and units used to satisfy minimum qualifications shall be from accredited institutions.)
Experience:
Minimum of three years of demonstrated teaching experience in the classroom or training is desired. Preference will be given to those with higher education experience teaching U.S. business law and experience practicing business-related law... [full experience details]
