"Assistant Professor, Computer Engineering"

The Computer Engineering Department at San José State University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor. Areas of particular interest include artificial intelligence and machine learning, embedded systems, computer architecture, computer vision, SOC and ASIC design, human-AI interaction, cyber-physical systems, cloud computing and big data, cybersecurity, and software design, but other related areas will also be considered.

Located in the center of Silicon Valley, the department offers Bachelor’s degrees in computer engineering and software engineering, and Master’s degrees in computer engineering, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. It serves more than 1600 students and provides opportunities for collaboration with industry partners.
