Assistant Professor/ R0074414
The University of Arkansas seeks applications for the position of Assistant Professor (R0074414). The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching computer engineering courses in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program, graduate courses in MS and Ph.D. programs, mentoring undergraduate students on Capstone design projects, supervising thesis and dissertation research of graduate students, and performing scholarship. This is a nine-month, tenure-track position with an estimated start date of January 2026 or until filled. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or a related field (degree must be earned from an accredited university by December 31, 2025).
Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching and industrial experience is desirable; Demonstrated strong English communication skills; Experience in teaching in a hybrid or on-line environment; Experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence in research is preferred.
