TASKS/ROLE
- conducting studies with patients in cooperation with clinical partners - collecting, processing and analysing data from patient’s brains and eyes
- programming and developing tools for data processing
- preparing research results for scientific publications

Skills/Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD degree awarded outside of Gdansk University of Technology or at least 10 months of research experience completed outside Gdańsk University of Technology and in a country other than the one where the doctoral degree was earned
- the doctoral degree must have been awarded no earlier than 12 years before 01.01.2026 (requirement of the funding agency)
- fluent programming in Python and/or Matlab
- experience in analysis of intracranial EEG, LFP or single unit spiking signals (at least 1 year)
- experience with stereo EEG or DBS recordings from human patients (at least 1 year)
- fluent communication in English enabling the writing of scientific articles and the presentation of research results in an international environment
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- doctoral research in neuroscience and/or biomedical engineering
