Position Summary
The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor. We seek an individual who will build and maintain a strong, extramurally funded research program in any area of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, such as Pharmacology; Immunology, Medicinal Chemistry with experience in high-throughput screening; Systems Biology, and Cancer Biology. The successful candidate will complement and build upon the Department’s existing research strengths, which include active programs in chemical biology, pharmacology and pharmaceutics, cancer biology, and infectious diseases.
Research Areas of Interest
Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
- AI/computational drug discovery
- Computational or virtual drug screening
- Chemical biology
- Pharmacology
- Immunology
- Cancer biology
- Drug formulation or drug delivery
- Medicinal chemistry
- Toxicology
- Systems biology
