Skills/Qualifications
People eligible to enter the competition are those who meet the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571) and meet the following qualification criteria:
- Hold at least a doctoral degree in economic sciences,
- Have a scientific record in the field of economics and finance, particularly in finance,
- Have experience in teaching at the university level, including conducting classes in areas such as economics, finance, management, or other related fields,
- Have professional or scientific experience related to economic, financial, or management issues,
- An additional advantage would be experience in conducting diploma seminars and supervising the preparation of diploma theses,
- Proficient in Polish (both spoken and written),
- Willingness to work on-site.

Candidates applying for the competition are required to submit the following documents:

Selection process
Documents must be submitted in person at the Rector's Office, room no. 115, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or sent to the address: State Academy of Applied Sciences in Głogów, ul. Piotra Skargi 5, 67-200 Głogów. The envelope should be marked with the note "Competition for the position of assistant professor in the Institute of Social Sciences." The date the documents are received by the University is decisive. The deadline for submitting documents is August 31, 2026. The competition decision will be made by September 11, 2026. The committee reserves the right to conduct an interview with candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal requirements or are submitted late will not be considered. The decision of the competition does not result in employment. The final decision on hiring is made by the Rector. The University reserves the right to cancel the competition for organizational reasons, without the need to provide a detailed explanation in this regard.
