TENDER FOR SELECTION
- One candidate (m/f) for the scientific-teaching position of assistant professor in the scientific field of natural sciences, scientific field of chemistry, for an indefinite-term full-time position at the Chair of Natural and Biomedical Sciences.

- a hand-signed application letter
- a CV in Europass format
- a copy of an ID card
- a copy of a certificate of citizenship (for applicants who are not citizens of the Republic of Croatia: proof of citizenship of an EU member state or other countries)
- a copy of a diploma of the acquired doctorate
- a description of scientific, teaching or professional activities, a list of papers, offprints relevant to the selection and other appropriate documentation on meeting the conditions for selection in accordance with the National University, Scientific and Artistic Criteria (42/2026) and other applicable acts
- if applicable: proof of selection to a scientific title
- if applicable: proof of professional education or training in the field of forensic toxicology
- a decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification (for applicants who have acquired the qualification abroad)
- a certificate from the competent court that no criminal proceedings are pending against the applicant (not older than 6 months)
- certificate of knowledge of the Croatian language – C2 level of the European level – advanced knowledge (for applicants from EU member states or other countries).
Applicants must meet the requirements prescribed by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Croatian official gazette "Narodne novine" No. 119/22), the Regulations of the Faculty of Forensic Sciences and the Statute of the University of Split.

Applications, along with supporting documentation and proof of meeting the criteria, must be submitted within 30 days from the date of the tender's publication in the official gazette of the Republic of Croatia, "Narodne novine". Applicants are required to submit their tender application and all tender documentation in electronic form exclusively in a single PDF document, no larger than 30 MB, to the electronic address: natjecaji@forenzika.unist.hr, with the following e-mail subject: "Tender application for the assistant professor position".
Applicants who meet the formal conditions are subject to a possible test of knowledge and abilities essential for performing the duties of the position, through testing and/or interview, and if they do not participate, they are considered to have withdrawn from the tender application. All information about any possible knowledge test will be published on the official website of the Faculty (http://forenzika.unist.hr/).
By submitting an application applicants expressly agree that the Faculty of Forensic Sciences may collect, use and further process data for the purpose of implementing the tender procedure in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Croatian official gazette "Narodne novine" No. 42/2018).
A proper application contains all data and attachments in the manner specified in the tender. Untimely, incomplete, and applications that do not meet the tender requirements will not be considered.
