Specific Requirements
Applicants should satisfy the conditions prescribed by the Labor law (Official gazette 93/14., 127/17., 98/19.; 151/22., 46/23.and 64/23.), Article 39. section 1 and 3 of Science and Higher Education Act (Official gazette 119/22), Article 123. paragraph 1. and 2. of Statute of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek; Article 45. paragraph 1. and 2. of Ordinance of Department of Chemistry Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek; National University, Scientific, and Artistic Criteria (Official Gazette No. 42/26), then Article 9. paragraph 1. and article 36. of Ordinance on Election/reelection to Titles and Corresponding Employment Positions of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
Applicants should enclose mandatory documentation according to the prescribed application form - Form No. 1 - Application for the job offer - for the position of assistant professor and a completed and signed Consent form.

Eligibility criteria
For applicants without Croatian citizenship, it is necessary to enclose proof of Croatian language knowledge with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2)
