Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting August 2026. Duties will consist of research and teaching in mathematics, as well as departmental service.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Mathematics or a related field at the time of appointment.

Preference shall be given to applicants with research specialties related to probability, stochastic processes, and/or mathematical finance. Successful applicants will carry outstanding credentials in mathematical research and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
