1. one employee to the vacant scientific-teaching position of Assistant Professor in the area of Technical Sciences, field Architecture and Urban Planning in the Department for Architecture and Urban Planning, permanent, full-time.
All candidates for the competition must meet the general requirement prescribed by the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23).
Candidates for the competition, in addition to the general requitements set out in the Labour Act ("Official Gazette" No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23), must also meet the criteria prescribed by the Article 39, paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act ("Official Gazette" No. 119/22), the National University, Scientific and Artistic Criteria ("Official Gazette" No. 42/26), Article 123, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 52, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Statute of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture Osijek, consolidated text, and the criteria prescribed in Articles 9 and 36 of the Ordinance on the implementation of the election/re-election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, consolidated text. Candidates for the competition for the scientific-teaching position of assistant professor are required to submit documentation according to Form No. 1, which is published on the Faculty's website www.gfos.unios.hr
The Decision on Additional Criteria for Selection to the Vacant Scientific-Teaching Position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Osijek (link: https://www.gfos.unios.hr/fakultet/akti-fakulteta-odluke) applies to candidates for the competition. Candidates are required to submit credible documentation substantiating their claims of meeting the additional criteria.
The competition is open to both genders under equal conditions. Only persons who meet the formal requirements of the competition and who have submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered candidates. A complete application is an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in the competition and is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Persons who submit untimely and incomplete applications and do not meet the formal requirements of the competition will not be considered candidates and will not be notified of the results of the competition.
For candidates who are foreign citizens, it is necessary to provide proof of knowledge of the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2).
Before starting employment, it is necessary to have a foreign school qualification recognized.

Candidates, who, on the basis of special regulations – the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23), Art. 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette No. 84/21), Art. 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids ("Official Gazette" No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Art. 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20), invoke the right to priority in employment, are obliged to invoke this right in their application for the competition and to attach all evidence required by special regulations for the exercise of this right. The aforementioned candidates shall have priority in employment in relation to other applicants, only under equal conditions.
For candidates who, in their application, invoke the right to preferential employment under the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette", No. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette", No. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.
Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) are required to invoke this right in their application for the competition and to submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.
Applications with evidence of fulfillment of tender conditions must be sent within 30 days from the date of publication of the competition, exclusively in the electronic form, to the address pisarnica@gfos.hr with the title: "Prijava na natječaj pod točkom 1" or "Application to the tender under point 1".
All candidates of the Competition shall be informed of the results of the Competition within fifteen (15) days of its completion.
All candidates are required to enclose with the application for the competition a completed and signed Consent Form, in which the candidate gives his/her consent that all his/her data contained in the competition documentation shall be collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). The Consent Form is published on the website of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture Osijek (link: http://www.gfos.unios.hr/obrasci). Without a duly completed and signed Consent Form with the application for the competition, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.
