2. Department of Public Health
2.1. One (1) employee to the associate position of Senior Research and Teaching Assistant in the scientific area of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Public Health and Health Care, for a fixed period, on a full-time basis, at the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek.
Candidates applying for the associate position of Senior Research and Teaching Assistant are required to meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act (“Official Gazette” Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23), as well as the specific requirements prescribed by Article 39, paragraph 7 of the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act (“Official Gazette” No. 119/22), Article 123, paragraph 5 of the Statute of the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, Article 58, paragraph 5 of the Statute of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, consolidated text, and Article 29 of the Rules on the Procedure for Appointment/Reappointment to Academic, Artistic, Teaching, Associate and Professional Positions at the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek.

Candidates applying for the associate position of Research and Teaching Assistant (item 3.1.) shall submit their applications using Application Form No. 4, published on the website www.mefos.unios.hr.
Candidates applying for the associate positions of Research and Teaching Assistant and Senior Research and Teaching Assistant who meet the formal requirements of the Public Call for Applications and who have submitted all required documentation together with their application must attend an interview before the Selection Committee for the purpose of additional assessment of their knowledge and motivation. Candidates will be notified by e-mail of the place and time of the interview conducted by the Faculty of Medicine Osijek.
All information concerning the course of the appointment procedure will be published on the website of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, www.mefos.unios.hr. Candidates who fail to attend the interview before the Selection Committee shall be deemed to have withdrawn their application and shall not be considered candidates in the selection procedure.
Candidates who are foreign nationals are required to provide proof of proficiency in the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), at the advanced C2 level.
All candidates who have applied under the Public Call for Applications shall be notified of the results no later than fifteen (15) days from the date on which the selection procedure is completed. The Faculty of Medicine Osijek reserves the right to notify all applicants of the results by e-mail as well.
