- JD, MA, or MS with substantial professional and/or university-level teaching experience noted above may be considered for a renewable three-year Instructor position. Higher-education teaching experience and/or related career experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Ability to teach introductory and advanced coursework in Criminal Justice and related areas in Sociology, as determined by program, Ability to develop courses in areas such as Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Procedural Law, Immigration (law and social aspects), Criminal Investigations, Police/Community Relations, Counter-terrorism and/or Introduction to Criminal Justice.
- Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.
