Offer Description
The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116 section 2 of the Act of 20 July 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science, and the following eligibility criteria:
- possession of an doctoral degree in the field of the discipline of Theology
- experience in scientific work, in particular in publishing research results in the form of publications in publishing houses and journals included in the lists conducted for the purpose of evaluating the quality of scientific activity - at least: an article in a journal from the list at the level of at least 100 points or two articles in journals from the list, one of which at the level of at least 70 points or authorship of a scientific monograph (in the two years preceding the announcement of the competition);
- experience in securing funding for scientific research and/or implementing research grants and projects
- knowledge of a foreign language attested by a certificate or attestation at the B-2 level

Specific Requirements
- possession a post-doctoral academic degree
- a completed Master's degree in the field of theology
- research interests in moral theology
- confirmed participation in scientific conferences and in organising committees
- organisational experience of active participation in scientific life
- participation in grant work or applications for external research project
- in the case of candidates who are academic teachers, current result of periodic evaluation
- an article published in journals included in the lists maintained for the purposes of evaluating the quality of research activity and indexed in SCOPUS: a minimum of 100 points
- documented proficiency in spoken and written Polish (this does not apply to native speakers of Polish)
- current involvement as a project manager or principal investigator in a research grant awarded by funding bodies external to higher education institutions

Eligibility criteria
Candidates entering the competition are asked to submit the following documents:
- CV,
- candidate's personal questionnaire,
- a copy of the doctoral and post-doctoral diploma - if the Candidate has one,
- information on the Candidate's scientific, teaching and organisational achievements,
- information on the research work plans with an indication of the expected results;
- a statement indicating John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin as the primary place of work as it is defined by the provisons of the Act on Higher Education and Science (in case of winning the competition),
- a statement of fulfilment of the requirements specified in Article 113 of theAct of 20 July 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science,
- references, opinion on predispositions to scientific and didactic work.
