CONTEXT: IMT Nord Europe, under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, focuses on training engineers, conducting research, and supporting territorial development. The position is within the Center for Education, Research, and Innovation in Digital Systems (CERI SN) (https://recherche.imt-nord-europe.fr/systemes-numeriques).

MISSIONS: Under the authority of the Director of CERI Digital Systems, the candidate will participate in teaching, research, and technology transfer activities.

Teaching Activities:

• Provide teaching in various programs, including core curriculum and specialized courses in areas like ML/AI and AI in healthcare. Some courses may be taught in English.
• Contribute to pedagogical innovations using digital tools (e.g., MOOCs, flipped classrooms).
• Engage in pedagogical supervision and collaborate with industry professionals.

Research and Technology Transfer Activities:

CERI Digital Systems includes axes like HIDE (Human, Interaction, Data Ecosystem). The candidate will strengthen the HIDE axis, focusing on human-centered computing, particularly in healthcare.

The recruited person will: Develop research on data for human-centered applications, initiate projects, supervise students, publish in leading venues, and participate in scientific events.

Job requirements

Profile: The candidate must have recognized skills, experience in an international laboratory, strong skills in human data processing, interest in healthcare, excellent communication, passion for teaching, and good English command.

CONDITIONS: Hold a PhD in computer science or signal processing. Expected skills include expertise in industrial issues, teaching aptitude, and teamwork.
