Assistant Professor to begin August 2027 to contribute to the central elements of the departmental and divisional mission by combining outstanding research with excellent teaching, service, and advising.
Job Description
Anticipated teaching responsibilities include teaching both introductory and/or upper-level undergraduate courses in the Human Capital Management major, including courses in organizational behavior and human resource management.
Minimum Requirements:
Required: Doctorate in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, or closely related field required by date of appointment (or must be completed by December 31, 2027, for appointment to a second year). Evidence of strong research potential (as evidenced by an established publication record or a strong pipeline of papers under review), as well as evidence of teaching effectiveness in the areas of organizational behavior and/or human resource management, is required.
Consideration may be given to candidates with accepted/published research in highly regarded journals as well as excellent teaching evaluations in the areas of organizational behavior and/or human resource management. Interviews will be conducted at the August 2026 Academy of Management Meeting in Philadelphia. Virtual interviews are possible for candidates not attending the Academy of Management Meeting.
