Job Overview

The Department of Radiation Oncology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.

The Department of Radiation Oncology seeks a board certified/ board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our thriving academic practice. The Department has a long and robust history of outstanding clinical care, vibrant Radiation Oncology residency, medical student and community education and an excellent clinical, translational and basic science research program. The atmosphere is particularly collegial and collaborative within the appointment and across the Cancer Program, the University and the region. The Department provides radiotherapy services for Cincinnati Children's Hospital and the Cincinnati Veterans Association Hospital. Treatment sites include the Barrett Cancer Center on the main campus at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, West Chester Radiotherapy on the West Chester campus of UC Health and the Cincinnati Proton Center, in collaboration with Cincinnati Children's Medical Center.

Essential Functions

The successful candidate will be an outstanding clinician, teacher and researcher with particular interest in treating patients with genitourinary malignancies, cancers of the head and neck and other sites as needed by the department.

We seek an individual who is particularly committed to outstanding patient care, enjoys teaching and has the intellectual curiosity and motivation to advance the field.

Minimum Requirements

Prior to effective date of appointment, the candidate must have:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Completion of residency from an accredited Radiation Oncology Program
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Ocology
  • Ohio Medical License
