A full-time Faculty position is available in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine seeks applications for a faculty position at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level, specializing in pulmonary critical care or critical care medicine for our growing critical care program. We are seeking candidates with commitment to outstanding patient care delivery and additional complimentary career interests that further support and develop our program including quality improvement, health outcomes, research (clinical or basic) and/or education.
Essential Functions
Clinical duties will include a minimum number of service (weeks, weekends and nights) in our Medical ICU and Medical Step-Down services, pulmonary consult services, and ambulatory clinic at the West Chester Hospital location and University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) locations. Depending upon candidate’s other interests and total clinical commitment, additional clinical time may include other critical care services across the UC Health Network. Opportunities to receive additional training in clinical research may be available as part of the agreement. This position will also participate in the teaching of UC medical students, UC Medical Center residents and fellows.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- State of Ohio medical license
- Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine
- Completion of a 3-year fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
