The Department of Computer Science at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), invites applications for tenure‐track Assistant Professor positions in Computer Science with an appointment to begin Fall 2026. Applicants in all areas of Computer Science will be considered. The department is especially seeking applicants to teach courses in the areas of systems and theoretical computer science, as well as applicants in AI/ML and those specializing in cybersecurity who will engage in the development and maintenance of the Cybersecurity Concentration and teach security courses.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field. ABDs welcome if degree completed by appointment.
• Strong record of scholarly accomplishments.
• Ability to balance teaching, research, service.

• Commitment to teaching diverse students.

Compensation

Assistant Professor salary range $6,221-$13,224 monthly. Anticipated: $8,488-$8,737/month ($101,856-$104,844/year).
