Hendrix College invites applications for a 3-year visiting position in the area of Economics within the Economics and Business Department to begin in August 2026. The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty who combine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college. Primary teaching duties will include introductory and upper level Economics courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Economic Research, and upper-level Economics electives. Electives such as Health Economics, Environmental Economics, Industrial Organization, Behavioral Economics, or Advanced Microeconomics or Advanced Macroeconomics are of particular interest. The normal teaching load is three courses per semester. The terminal degree requirement is a Ph.D. in Economics; ABD will be considered.
