Job Summary: The School of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Superior invites applications for the faculty position of tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance. The school is seeking an individual who will provide excellent undergraduate instruction, incorporate current techniques in teaching and research, and work collaboratively to strengthen the school's business programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality teaching and advise students within the School of Business and Economics (SBE), perform services to the SBE and university, and engage in scholarly activities. Take a leading role in developing and teaching courses both on-campus and online for the Business Administration, Finance concentration, as well as other business courses as needed. Committed to building community among students and faculty within SBE and the university.
Other Duties:
- Complete required trainings and professional development as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD from a school/college accredited by the AACSB or similar accrediting body with a curricular emphasis in the field of Finance.
- Instructor of record for at least two semesters teaching Finance in-person and/or online in higher education. Record of publications in quality, peer-reviewed, Finance-related journals and engagement in relevant professional societies.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Instructor of record for at least two years teaching Finance in-person and/or online in higher education.
- Experience with using a variety of teaching methods in a higher education classroom.
Compensation: Salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
