Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Department of Information Technology advances practical knowledge and skills in cutting-edge information technologies. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for tenure track Assistant Professor of Information Technology faculty positions in the Department of Information Technology with a preferred start date of January 2026. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teach in information technology at both undergraduate and graduate levels in various modalities including online hybrid or face-to-face as per department need.
- Develop and maintain an active and productive research agenda.
- Service to the Department, College, University or professional community is expected.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
An earned PhD degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a computing discipline, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data and Information Science, and Computer and/or Electrical Engineering is required at the time of hire.
