The School of Business at Texas Southern University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management, who is competent in instructing students, with an active, continuing research agenda. The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree (PhD or DBA ) with an emphasis in Management or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university. This is a 9-month tenure track position with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Essential Duties Summary

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Management.
• Conduct research that is presentable at professional academic conferences and acceptable for publication in referred academic journals.
• Active participation in departmental, school, and university committees.
• Service to one’s profession and the surrounding community.
• Advise and mentor students.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range

$89,879.63 - $116,840.00

Education

Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university at time of hire.
