The University of Arizona School of Music invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Music-Violin (full-time, tenure track).
The successful candidate will be an established artist and teacher of national or international prominence who will teach and recruit outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, maintain an active profile as a performing artist and teacher, conduct weekly master classes, coach chamber music, participate in service to the school, university, and greater community, work collaboratively with faculty and students, and related duties as assigned by the Director of the school.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and recruit outstanding undergraduate and graduate violin students.
- Maintain an active profile as a performing artist and teacher.
- Conduct weekly master classes.
- Coach chamber music.
- Teach pedagogy, literature, and other courses according to qualifications and needs of the school.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Violin Performance or a closely related field...
- Active professional engagement as a violin performer.
- Teaching in applied violin at the university or pre-professional level.

- Sustained national or international professional performance activity.
- Possesses recordings, premieres, commissions, or notable professional collaborations.
- Experience teaching at the university level...
