Temporary Part-Time Bassoon Instructor
Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Music at Millersville University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses for Bassoon students. This position will require in-person instruction on Millersville University's campus. This position is contingent upon sufficient enrollments in assigned classes.

- Copies of registrar-issued transcripts for all degrees conferred and in progress.
- Two letters of professional reference dated within the last 12 months.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Music or BA degree in bassoon performance with 15 additional graduate credits in music.
- Demonstrated knowledge of bassoon pedagogy.
- Ability to teach diverse student populations successfully.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and experience working with diverse student populations.
- Successful interview.
- Successful teaching demonstration for teaching studio bassoon.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD or ABD in Music.
- Prior college-level teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
- This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the APSCUF Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Class schedule and modality (face-to-face, online, blended, etc.) is set by the dean of the college.
