Position Details:
Tenure Track Professor in the School of Nursing

The Indiana State University is seeking a well-qualified, collaborative faculty member to join our team in the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential to be an effective teacher, productive scholar, and contributor to community engagement. We view the educational process as transformational resulting in the individual becoming a competent, caring, nursing professional.

Responsibilities
This is a 10-month regular in-person on campus faculty appointment with candidates eligible for the rank of assistant professor. Faculty is expected to participate in scholarly activities and service to Indiana State University, the College, School of Nursing, and the profession. Will be expected to teach, mentor students, engage students in curricular and extracurricular activities to advance the institutional mission of experiential learning and community engagement, assist in student recruitment, student success, and other activities. This is not an online/remote position.

Required Qualifications
PhD or DNP Degree in nursing or related field and Master's required, one or both must be in nursing. ABD (if PhD) or equivalent (if DNP) will be considered. Minimum of 3 years RN clinical practice experience. Must have an active unencumbered RN license in a state and be eligible for an RN license in Indiana if the existing license is a different state.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a college/university teacher is preferred. CNE certification is beneficial.
