Position Highlights
The University of Arizona seeks a qualified applicant for the position of Assistant Professor of Practice for our Tucson area campus. This position is for a career-track instructional faculty (non-tenure eligible) member in the area of Speech, Language, and Hearing Science - leading undergraduate courses and/or graduate courses using the knowledge of Content Expertise in SLHS/Linguistics; and Pedagogical Competence.

Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading undergraduate courses and/or graduate courses using the knowledge of Content Expertise in SLHS/Linguistics; and Pedagogical Competence.
- Designing new coursework and adapting coursework to different formats using the knowledge of Content Expertise in SLHS/Linguistics; and Pedagogical Competence.
- Mentoring, advising, and participating on student committees using the knowledge of Content Expertise in SLHS/Linguistics; and Pedagogical Competence.
- Enhancing and developing experiential learning opportunities for students and engaging in one-to-one clinical teaching using the knowledge of Content Expertise in SLHS/Linguistics; and Pedagogical Competence.
- Leading independent study research/academic experiences for students and creating novel clinical opportunities or experiences using the knowledge of Content Expertise in SLHS/Linguistics; and Pedagogical Competence.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences, or a related field or foreign equivalent.
