Essential Job Duties:
The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate courses in a specific discipline in World Languages & Cultures according to departmental need and employee knowledge, skills and ability.
Courses may be taught in any of the languages for the classes that we offer. Appointments may be available part time for Summer 2024 and/or 2024-2025 Academic Year, all with the possibility of renewal.
Minimum Experience/Education:
- Lecturer: Master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent education and/or professional experience, plus Bachelor's degree plus 18 graduate credit hours will also be considered for Lecturer.
- Assistant Teaching Professor: PhD is necessary for rank
Degrees/credits must be received by start date.
Required Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Instruction experience and proof of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level are preferred.
