Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology
Brescia University seeks full-time faculty members whose teaching philosophy aligns with our mission and who are passionate about high quality teaching, student mentorship, and inclusive learning environments.
We invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology. This is a 9-month position and is scheduled to begin January 2026, if possible or August 2026. Remote candidates will be considered.
Experience and Education requirements:
- Ph.D. or EdD in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience preferred in the following areas:
- Research Methods
- Pediatric Dysphagia
- Early Intervention
- Adult Dysphagia
- Voice
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Teach a minimum of 3 courses per semester
- Serve as academic advisor and on university committees, attend faculty meetings
- Assist with programmatic needs including, but not limited to:
- Portfolio advising, screening program applications,
- Assisting with student research mentorship,
- Developing/sponsoring departmental student club
- Uphold and advance Brescia’s mission to offer education of the whole person through a commitment to academic excellence, service, and values-based leadership.
