Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology

Brescia University seeks full-time faculty members whose teaching philosophy aligns with our mission and who are passionate about high quality teaching, student mentorship, and inclusive learning environments.

We invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology. This is a 9-month position and is scheduled to begin January 2026, if possible or August 2026. Remote candidates will be considered.

Experience and Education requirements:

• Ph.D. or EdD in Speech Language Pathology
• Experience preferred in the following areas:
  • Research Methods
  • Pediatric Dysphagia
  • Early Intervention
  • Adult Dysphagia
  • Voice

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Teach a minimum of 3 courses per semester
• Serve as academic advisor and on university committees, attend faculty meetings
• Assist with programmatic needs including, but not limited to:
  • Portfolio advising, screening program applications,
  • Assisting with student research mentorship,
  • Developing/sponsoring departmental student club
