Position Focus:
- Expertise in design and behavior of steel structures
- Opportunity to use full-scale experimental facilities, materials testing labs, and high-performance computing resources
Responsibilities
- Develop undergraduate and graduate teaching programs that support diverse learning styles
- Establish an externally funded research program in structural engineering
- Mentor graduate students
- Collaborate with faculty across CAEE and related departments
- Contribute to service in the university and the broader profession
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field
- Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and research excellence
- Ability to work in an inclusive and collaborative environment
