Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonary or Pediatric Sleep Medicine are required.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture and medical education opportunities within the department.

Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

There may also be opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical or translational research. Research is not required for faculty on the AC Track however the successful candidate may collaborate/contribute to research.

The division provides care to children with a diverse spectrum of pulmonary and sleep disorders including through the Cystic Fibrosis Center, Sleep Center, Technology Dependence Center, Asthma Program, Lung Transplant Program, Thoracic Insufficiency Center, Bronchoscopy/Aerodigestive Program, and clinics for children with chronic lung disease of infancy, Interstitial Lung Disease, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, and other rare lung diseases.
