Assistant Professor - Surgery General
Job Description Summary
Full-time tenure track or non-tenure track faculty member of the Department of Surgery at the Assistant Professor level with a clinical emphasis in Oncologic Surgery.
Job Duties
- Hold a teaching faculty appointment with the School of Medicine.
- Expected to teach and mentor both medical students and residents in the area of general surgery in particular surgical oncology.
- Participate as an active clinical member of the Colorectal and Oncologic Surgery Division.
- Perform academic research related to surgery oncology.
- Participate on departmental and university committees as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Certification:
- Board eligible or board certified in Surgery.
- Completion of a fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
Work Experience: Background in teaching and research.
