Job Description Summary:
Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery specializing in the area of Breast Surgical Oncology. Incumbent will have an active clinical practice, teach residents and students rotating through Surgery, and participate in academic research. Job Duties

• Active clinical practice in the surgical treatment of diseases related to the services of this division. Participate as a member of the Breast Surgical Oncology Service in the Department of Surgery.
• Faculty appointment with the School of Medicine in the area of Surgery with an emphasis in Breast Surgery. Incumbent will teach medical students and residents in the classroom, clinic, and operating room.
• Participate in surgery related research, clinical trials, and clinical studies. Publish and present data at the regional and national levels.
• Serve on hospital, university, and departmental committees as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Surgery.
Work Experience: Completion of a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship.

Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience: One year experience in academic setting and research.
