Assistant Professor, Synthetic Biology and Genomics
The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at Yale University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. The Department is particularly interested in candidates whose research advances the interface of synthetic biology, genomics, and artificial intelligence, while also welcoming applications from candidates in any area of molecular, cellular, or developmental biology, using any system, who will contribute to the excellence of our community of scholars. We expect the appointee to be a dynamic participant in the departmental mission of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in subject areas such as molecular, cellular or developmental biology, biochemistry, genetics, genomics, systems or synthetic biology, plant biology, or neurobiology.
