Assistant Professor - Tenure Track - Pathology
The Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center is accepting applications for tenure track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. We seek motivated individuals using molecular, cellular, and systems biology approaches to study immunology and pathogenesis of infectious diseases. The successful candidate should have an MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent degree, demonstrated achievement as evidenced by current grant funding (e.g., K, R01) and publications in leading journals.
The mission is to build a national leader in diagnostics, research, and education by leveraging emerging technologies. The new faculty member will maintain an independent research program with extramural support, develop collaborations, participate in teaching, and possess strong communication skills. Opportunities include access to resources in mass cytometry, flow cytometry, imaging, proteomics, and genomics.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health
- PhD in Molecular Toxicology
- Research in Immunology and HIV
- Current research funding
- Proven ability to write scientific reports and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Understanding of grant writing and funding
