Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) - School of Accountancy & MIS (26-27)
Description
The School of Accountancy & MIS at DePaul University is seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in accounting beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates should possess a PhD or be close to completion of a doctorate in accounting from an AACSB accredited University.
The ideal candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research, teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in financial accounting, auditing and data analytics effectively, and make meaningful contributions to service.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB accredited University
- Strong potential for scholarly research and publication in the field of accounting
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate or graduate level (or both)

General Compensation/Benefits Statement
DePaul University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the qualifications, education, experience, and training of the selected candidate, the scope and responsibilities of the position, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. The salary range for this 10-month position is $170,000 - $180,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
