The Director of Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, with the consent of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, announces a competition for the position of assistant professor in the programme/project/undertaking FNP Team Net FENG.

Requirements

Research Field: Mathematics

Education Level: PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Compliance with the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, consolidated text).
A doctoral degree (PhD) in Mathematics.
Experience and previous research in the theory and numerical analysis of data assimilation for weather forecast models formulated as partial differential equations.
Scientific achievements documented by publications in renowned scientific journals.
International experience, such as participation in international conferences and international collaboration documented by publications.
