Responsibilities
The appointees are expected to
- provide comprehensive administrative support for academic taught and research programmes, including promotion, admission, registration, examination, and student advising
- write reports and provide secretarial support to committees and meetings
- support programme quality assurance, enhancement processes, and professional accreditation activities
- liaise with internal departments/units and external organisations to execute programme related activities/events
- perform any other duties as assigned by the Person-in-Charge or his/her delegates
- work outside normal office hours and/or outside Hong Kong, China occasionally
Requirements
- a recognised degree
- at least five years of solid work experience, preferably in academic programme administration in tertiary education institutions
- demonstrate strong experience in drafting academic documents
- an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua is required
- display a high level of responsibility, independence and professionalism in managing multiple priorities
Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
