Offer Description
The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa hereby announces an open recruitment competition for the position of Assistant (Teaching Staff Group) on a full-time basis in the Department of Social Research.
The competition is open to candidates who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).
The position of Assistant within the group of teaching staff may be filled by a person holding at least the professional degree of Master (Magister), Master of Engineering (Magister Inżynier), or an equivalent degree, and possessing academic or teaching competencies relevant to the scientific discipline represented by the employee and to higher education teaching within the field of study in which the employee will conduct classes, namely Pedagogy.
The teaching duties will include the following courses:
- Methodology of Social Rehabilitation;
- Methodology of the Social Rehabilitation Educator's Work;
- Methodology of Social Rehabilitation Interventions in Community-Based Settings;
- Social Rehabilitation Assessment (Diagnosis).
In addition, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- hold at least a Master's degree in the field of Social Sciences, discipline: Pedagogy;
- demonstrate, by means of an appropriate certificate, proficiency in the English language at a level sufficient to conduct academic classes;
- possess professional experience as a social rehabilitation educator.
Additional assets
The following qualifications will constitute an additional advantage:
- experience in teaching at the higher education level;
- postgraduate studies and/or specialist courses completed, confirmed by diplomas or certificates, enhancing research and/or teaching competencies.
